Rep. Boebert Suggests U.S. Solve Debt Crisis by Opening Up Another Credit Card, Asks for Cash Back Rewards

2 mins read

Representative Lauren Boebert has proposed a new solution to the ongoing debate about raising the debt limit in Congress and the White House.

During a press conference, Boebert proudly announced that the United States could simply open up another credit card, just like she did when her own card ran out of money a few years before she ran for office.

“I don’t see what the big deal is,” Boebert said, shrugging her shoulders. “When my credit card was maxed out, I just applied for another one. Problem solved.”

When pressed on the issue of interest rates and credit scores, Boebert confidently replied, “Hey, I always pay my bills on time. It’s not like we’re going to go into default or anything.”

The proposal has sparked widespread ridicule and disbelief among political analysts and economists.

“Opening up another credit card is not a viable solution to the country’s debt problem,” said one economist, shaking his head in disbelief. “It’s like trying to pay off your mortgage with a payday loan.”

Despite the backlash, Boebert remained steadfast in her belief that her proposal was the best way forward.

“I don’t see anyone else coming up with a better solution,” she said, before turning to leave the press conference. “I’m off to apply for a few more cards. Wish me luck!”
