In an exclusive sit-down interview with The Folly Times, Jennifer Aniston answers some of the burning questions we have about her past roles, favorite movie prop, and high-profile romances. The interview was conducted on April 1, 2023.
The Folly Times: Good afternoon, Jennifer. Thank you for joining us today.
Jennifer Aniston: Hi, thank you for having me.
The Folly Times: You’ve had an incredible career in Hollywood, with roles in some of the most iconic movies and TV shows of our time. From Friends to Marley & Me, and everything in between. What do you think has been the secret to your success?
Jennifer Aniston: Well, I think it’s a combination of hard work, a bit of luck, and a willingness to take risks. And of course, having great hair helps.
The Folly Times: Speaking of risks, you’ve also had your fair share of high-profile romances. How have those experiences shaped you as a person?
Jennifer Aniston: Oh, you know, I’ve learned a lot about myself and about what I want and don’t want in a relationship. Plus, it’s always good material for my therapist.
The Folly Times: You’re currently promoting your new movie, “Murder Mystery 2,” in which you play a detective trying to solve a murder with Adam Sandler. What drew you to this role?
Jennifer Aniston: Well, I’ve always been a fan of the mystery genre, and I loved the idea of playing a strong, complex female character. Plus, the wardrobe was amazing.
The Folly Times: You’ve also had some struggles in your personal life, including a highly publicized divorce from Brad Pitt. How have you dealt with that kind of scrutiny?
Jennifer Aniston: It’s not easy, but I try to focus on the things that are important to me, like my work and my friendships. And wine. Lots of wine.
The Folly Times: We can definitely relate to that. So, we have to ask: Have you kept any props from your past roles?
Jennifer Aniston: Oh, I definitely have. I have my waitress uniform from Office Space, where I played Joanna at a restaurant called Chotchkie’s. And of course, my pieces of flair.
The Folly Times: Ah, the pieces of flair. That’s a classic. How many did you have?
Jennifer Aniston: Well, I believe the minimum was 15, but I always tried to go above and beyond. I think I had around 37 at one point.
The Folly Times: Impressive. Do you think you’ll ever wear that uniform again?
Jennifer Aniston: You never know. I might bust it out for Halloween or something or if this acting thing ever goes south, maybe I’ll use it for my next job.
