Trump Privately Wonders if Supreme Court Nominations Came with Return Policy

Trump engages with Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh—two appointments he’s now privately questioning, according to insiders.

NEED TO KNOW

  • President Trump has reportedly been grumbling about “disloyal” Supreme Court justices—especially Amy Coney Barrett.
  • Sources say he’s considered calling customer support to ask about exchanges or refunds.
  • White House insists Trump “still respects the Court,” just not when it disagrees with him.

Disappointment at the Top

President Donald Trump is privately expressing buyer’s remorse about the Supreme Court justices he handpicked—especially Amy Coney Barrett. According to multiple insiders, the president has spent the past year muttering about the “fine print” on his judicial selections. Trump’s frustration reached new highs after rulings that strayed from his MAGA agenda, leading him to wonder aloud if there’s a return window for Supreme Court justices. “She came highly recommended! This feels like buying a used car that turns out to be a bicycle,” he allegedly told aides.

The Justices Strike Back

It’s not just Barrett who’s fallen out of favor. Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh have also landed on Trump’s naughty list. Still, Barrett appears to be the main culprit in Trump’s late-night rants. “Somebody said she was a DEI hire, which I don’t even know what that is, but it doesn’t sound good,” Trump reportedly grumbled. Barrett has recused herself from high-profile cases and even sided with Chief Justice Roberts and the liberals in one big decision. The White House quickly insisted, “The President may disagree with the Court, but he always respects its foundational role—at least in public.”

Barrett’s Unlikely Fan Club

Barrett is no stranger to controversy. She’s been roasted by conservative legal pundits and labeled a “law professor with her head up her… syllabus.” One podcast host even suggested Trump “got catfished by the Federalist Society.” Barrett, for her part, seems unfazed and is reportedly working on a memoir titled “How to Lose Friends and Annoy Presidents.” Meanwhile, conservative allies are busy spreading rumors that she’s only gone soft due to threats to her family. “Maybe if she had more security, she’d vote better,” Trump mused, as if security details double as loyalty upgrades.

Return Policy Pending

Despite the drama, Trump has resisted publicly torching Barrett by name. “He’s hoping the Court will come around if he just shakes the box a little,” said one senior staffer. When pressed, Trump insists he “truly respects the Supreme Court,” just not all its decisions. Insiders say he’s already looked up the Supreme Court’s customer service number, but the automated line just tells him to “stop calling.” For now, the only thing Trump is certain of is that nothing in Washington comes with a money-back guarantee.
