Trump Blames Bidenomics for Having to Sell T-Shirts To Pay HUGE Bills

Last updated: May 19, 2025 9:50 AM CT

Former President Donald Trump and his family have officially invaded the fashion industry with a line of t-shirts that has both style critics and political pundits bewildered. Branded as “TrumpShots,” these shirts feature a stylized mugshot of the former President and boldly proclaim “Never Surrender,” a nod to Trump’s unyielding spirit. According to the Trumps, the new venture is a direct result of “Bidenomics”—an economic policy term coined by President Joe Biden himself.

Trump unveiled the t-shirt during a star-studded virtual event hosted at his Mar-a-Lago estate, where he wore the shirt and a red MAGA cap. “Folks, it’s fantastic. I never surrender, okay? Bidenomics tried to bring us down, but we’re turning it around,” Trump declared.

The term “Bidenomics” was originally described by Biden as an economic strategy to grow “the economy from the middle out and bottom up, not the top down.” In a White House briefing, Bidenomics was framed as an effort to distribute economic benefits more equitably among American citizens. The Trump family, however, argues that this approach has negatively impacted their wealth, leaving them no choice but to venture into the casual wear market.

Donald Trump Jr. was quick to defend the decision to produce the shirts in China: “It’s not us; it’s Bidenomics! The policies have made it so hard to produce here. We’re making China great because we can’t make America great at the moment. See what Bidenomics did?”

Ivanka Trump, who paired her “Never Surrender” tee with an elegant designer skirt and heels, added her perspective: “We’re adapting to the economic environment set by Bidenomics. Just because we’re not middle-class doesn’t mean we shouldn’t thrive. These t-shirts are more than fabric; they’re a statement.”

Retailing for $45.45, an unmistakable reference to Trump’s position as the 45th President, the t-shirts sold out within mere hours of their release. The unusual pivot to fashion appears to be a success for now, proving once again that the Trump brand can stretch into nearly any market or, in this case, stretch across American torsos.

Whether you view this endeavor as a prelude to future legal battles, a shrewd business decision, or an unprecedented fashion statement, it’s clear that the Trump family’s entrepreneurial acumen remains intact—regardless of what Bidenomics throws their way.
