Former President Donald Trump to Open Luxury Jail Under Trump Brand

New York City – Former President Donald Trump has announced his latest business venture – a luxury jail under the Trump brand. The jail, set to open later this year, will feature gold-plated cells, five-star dining options, and a “Trump Spa and Wellness Center” for inmates to unwind.

“I’ve always been a big fan of the justice system,” said Trump at a press conference announcing the new venture. “And I think there’s a real need for a luxury jail experience. People are tired of the drab, depressing jails we have now. They want something with a little pizzazz, a little flair. And that’s where the Trump Jail comes in.”

According to sources close to Trump, the idea for the jail came about after the former president became worried about the possibility of his own incarceration. “He figured if he’s going to be locked up, he might as well do it in style,” said one source.

Many have criticized the move, calling it a blatant attempt to profit off of the criminal justice system. “This is just the latest in a long line of Trump-branded businesses that exploit people for profit,” said one activist. “It’s disgusting.”

Others have pointed out the irony of Trump, a man who has been accused of numerous crimes himself, opening a jail. “It’s like the fox guarding the henhouse,” said one commentator. “Only in this case, the fox is charging the hens for the privilege of being locked up.”

Despite the criticism, Trump remains confident in his new venture. “This is going to be huge,” he declared. “People are going to be lining up to get arrested just so they can stay in one of our cells.”

Trump’s legal team has also expressed enthusiasm for the new jail, noting that it could provide a more favorable environment for their client in the event of his own arrest. “It’s comforting to know that if the worst happens, Mr. Trump will have a comfortable place to stay,” said one lawyer.

As for the American public, many are skeptical of the new venture. “I don’t think anyone wants to see the justice system turned into a theme park,” said one citizen. “It’s a serious matter, and it should be treated as such.”

Only time will tell whether the Trump Jail will be a success. But one thing is for sure – if Trump does end up behind bars, at least he’ll be able to do it in style.
