In a recent social media post, former President Donald Trump has criticized Jill Biden’s decision to invite the losing NCAA Women’s basketball team, the Iowa Hawkeyes, to the White House along with the LSU Tigers, who won the tournament.
According to Trump, “You have to treat winners with respect. You feed them, they come visit, get a brief tour of the White House, and then dine on some delicious fast-food burgers catered by McDonald’s – because we all know The Donald is a sucker for a good greasy American-made burger.”
Trump went on to slam the invitation of the Hawkeyes, saying that “Inviting losers to the White House sends the wrong message. It’s a waste of time and resources, and frankly, it’s un-American. It’s actually the real reason I did not attend the Inauguration of Joe Biden. Losers don’t belong in the White House.”
He also suggested that the Hawkeyes should have received a consolation prize instead of an invitation to the White House. “Maybe they could have been given a gift card to McDonald’s or something like that. That way they could drown their sorrows in some tasty fast food instead of sulking around the White House.”
It is unclear how Jill Biden will react to Trump’s comments, but it seems that the former President still has strong opinions on who should be allowed inside the White House.
