ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. – Following the arrest of Tony Saunders, who was caught driving a stolen school bus while naked and carrying a dead deer in Pennsylvania, officials in Florida have reportedly offered to extradite him to their state.
“We have extensive experience dealing with bizarre and outlandish crimes in Florida, so we feel uniquely qualified to handle this case,” said a spokesperson for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. “Our state has seen everything from alligator wrestling to bath salts-induced face-eating incidents, so we’re confident that we can handle a naked man with a stolen bus and a dead deer.”
According to sources, Florida officials have already sent a team of experts to Pennsylvania to assess the situation and determine if Saunders is a good fit for the state’s criminal justice system.
“We’re just waiting for the green light from Pennsylvania to take him off their hands,” the spokesperson added. “We know how to handle these types of things down here.”
While some in Pennsylvania have expressed concern over extraditing Saunders to Florida, citing the state’s reputation for being a “weird” and “wild” place, others see it as a win-win situation.
“At least he’ll be out of our hair,” said one local resident. “If Florida wants him, they can have him.”
It remains unclear whether Saunders will ultimately be extradited to Florida or face charges in Pennsylvania, but one thing is certain: his naked joyride in a stolen school bus with a dead deer as a passenger has captured the attention of the nation.
